Resource efficient exploration of ternary phase space to develop multi-layer ceramic capacitors

We demonstrate a fast, efficient combinatorial method for the optimisation of materials multi-layer ceramic capacitors (MLCCs). Experimentally gathered permittivity-temperature profiles nine compositions spanning solid solution are used as input, and with series mixing rules, binary ternary permittivity contour maps calculated based on individual layer thicknesses. These converted into Temperature Coefficient Capacitance (TCC) an algorithm is then to identify material combinations thicknesses suitable various MLCC classifications. facilitate targeted experimentation allowed experimental verification methodology.
